about

One of the most highly anticipated mixtapes of the year for South Texas, JoeCat has begun to branch out his sound to the entire world. 5 months after the release of Epistemic Virtues, over 20+ labels/management have shown interest in the evolution of his soul searching talent. With numerous sync deals lined up around the nation and having gained radio play after only 2 months of the release, California became an immediate option of expansion for his clothing sponsor (One Step Ahead) and the iDream Music Label.

Although most of his fans appear to be coming from the East Coast and Eastern hemisphere, this has not stopped his relentless passion for putting out music with his core fans in mind. After many busy months and hard investing, the long awaited tape has finally arrived in time for Spring Break, and not a moment too soon.

As he has begun to harness his sound, it’s no surprise he recorded the majority of his tape in only 3 days. Becoming one of the most versatile artists to date, he has become inseparable in content ranging with the common fans of Public Enemy, Tupac Shakur, Immortal Technique, Lupe Fiasco, and Talib Kweli.

The next project will be an EDM/Hip-Hop/Funk Album (Auditory Hallucinations) in collaboration with Kinder, which has been consistently shopped around despite the project still currently in production. Kinder has become more than an engineer and producer in the making of these projects and it’s no doubt the new sound has stemmed from a friendship far greater than the music itself. As they begin to find their niche in the industry, one can only wonder how long this solitude of progression can stay dormant.
